How much jail time should Dharun Ravi have served?
NOTHING: The public humiliation was punishment enough for this horrible tragedy.
30 DAYS: The original judge was right. Justice was served!
6 MONTHS: Just long enough to simmer in his juices.
1-3 YEARS: Not too short, not too long and enough to discourage other would-be bullies.
3-5 YEARS: The original prosecutor was right to demand a small fraction of Ravi's life.
5-10 YEARS: One decade is a small price to pay for driving someone to suicide.
11-20 YEARS: Clementi lost his youth, Ravi should lose his too.
20-50 YEARS: In a few decades, no one would dream of publicly bullying a gay American.
LIFE IN PRISON: I am hardcore against bullying. Never mind that Clementi killed himself.
