The national survey's good news as it means a nice sized audience for Penelop's Place, opening Thursday, February 9th! It will be devoted to Brandon's own Laura Doughty's love and passion for animals of all kinds, most especially her own pets! It doesn't end there ... her passion is matched only by her compassion for animals of all types, including birds, fish and reptiles ... and she has an especial attachment for impaired pets having special needs.

Her involvement with animals ... pet owners, veterinarians, and others who share her love for them ... gives her an awareness and appreciation of the special love and bond that exists between animals and those who truly care for them. She, like they, actively opposes animal abuse ... is involved in Animal Rescue, Refuge and Pet Adoption efforts in the Greater Tampa area. And, after 17 years of service with the State of Florida ... she established a new professional pet sitting service, Penelop's Petstop, Inc ... in Brandon in 2011.
