Our new website/blog, Penelop's Place, is opening Thursday, February 9th!

Penelop's Place will be devoted to Brandon's own Laura Doughty's love and passion for animals of all kinds, most especially her own pets! It doesn't end there ... her passion is matched only by her compassion for animals of all types, including birds, fish and reptiles ... and she has an especial attachment for impaired pets having special needs.

Her involvement with animals ... pet owners, veterinarians, and others who share her love for them ... gives her an awareness and appreciation of the special love and bond that exists between animals and those who truly care for them. She, like they, actively opposes animal abuse ... is involved in Animal Rescue, Refuge and Pet Adoption efforts in the Greater Tampa area. And, after 17 years of service with the State of Florida ... she established a new professional pet sitting service, Penelop's Petstop, Inc ... in Brandon in 2011.

We hope that all the pet owners and animal lovers in the area will visit www.penelopsplace.com ... well, more than that ... evaluate our site and tell us what you think ... the good, the bad, ... the ugly! It's for you ... and that will help us make it better!.

Laura is devoted to obtaining and sharing information in which she thinks you'll be interested ... and stories too. We know everyone will enjoy the stories about animals and pets, especially yours! You'll find Laura very well informed, with her own unique style and enjoyable way of telling it like it is ... another thing about which she's passionate.
