In the battle between sound and meaning, I am...
pro-sound. I'll pick a nice sounding name even if the meaning is blah - few people know meanings.
pro-meaning. I think the meaning of a name reflects a lot of who a person is.
neither. I want a nice sounding name AND a good meaning and won't settle for just one or the other.

Well? Am I?
Yup - it's important that siblings' names sound good together, definitely something I'll consider.

When I see names with alternate spellings, I...
judge the hell out of the parents - what's wrong with the normal spelling?
silently applaud the parents - it's about time baby names were shaken up a bit!
don't really care one way or the other - it's not *my* kid.

I'm all about...
classical names that won't go out of style.
trendy names that are popular right now.
unusual names that no one else will think of.
gender neutral names (e.g., Cameron, Reese, Quinn).
